Introduction

Salty was banished from the elf forest and raised as a street child in a city of sand and salt. Rescued by an adventurer, she became one herself, hunting for a magic sword with the power to become a god — so she can punch the god who abandoned her. In Henkyo, she meets Viede, a self-proclaimed magic swordsman who is actually a demon. Together they explore a dungeon born from the sword's influence.

Salty: The Elf Who Wants to Punch a God

Most RPG protagonists have straightforward motivations — save the world, defeat the villain, find the treasure. Salty's motivation is specific, personal, and darkly funny: she wants to find a magic sword powerful enough to become a god, so she can punch the god who did not help her when she needed it most.
That motivation is rooted in her backstory. Banished from the elf forest as a child, she grew up on the streets of a harsh city, surviving on her own until an adventurer rescued her. She did not become an adventurer out of idealism — she became one because the world showed her that nobody was coming to save her, so she would have to save herself.
That character depth is what makes the game searchable. Players who care about protagonist motivation, backstory, and emotional stakes will find this game through queries like elf protagonist with tragic backstory or RPG with revenge motivation, and the page should answer those queries directly rather than burying them under generic fantasy language.

Viede the Demon: Companion, Deal-Maker, and Complication

Viede appears the night Salty takes lodging in Henkyo. He is not what he seems — a self-proclaimed magic swordsman who is actually a demon, offering a deal that sounds too good to refuse. Help him break the seal on the magic sword at the dungeon's deepest floor, and he will help her in return.
That deal structure is the engine of the game's narrative tension. Salty is not exploring the dungeon alone — she is exploring it with someone who has his own agenda, his own reasons for wanting the seal broken, and his own definition of what "help" means. The game is as much about navigating that relationship as it is about navigating the dungeon itself.
The companion dynamic also creates the erotic tension. Viede is a demon, and demons in this genre do not offer help without strings attached. The "slightly erotic" descriptor the developer uses is earned through the way the two characters interact — through deals, through proximity, through the slow erosion of boundaries that happens when you are trapped in a dungeon with someone who wants something from you.

The Trap Dungeon: Exploration, Combat, and Consequence

The dungeon in Henkyo appeared due to the influence of the magic sword Salty is hunting. It is not a random dungeon — it is a manifestation of the power she is chasing, which means every floor she descends brings her closer to the thing she wants and the thing that might destroy her.
The dungeon is built on RPG Maker's tile-based exploration system, which means it is a classic dungeon crawler with turn-based combat, trap avoidance, and resource management. The "trap" in the title is not metaphorical — the dungeon is designed to punish careless exploration and reward tactical thinking.
The adult content is woven into the dungeon structure rather than bolted on top of it. Encounters, events, and character interactions within the dungeon drive the erotic content, which means the progression system and the intimate content are the same system. You are not grinding toward a reward — you are discovering it through play.
